Haven't gone to the beaches since the start of
2010 so Peter and I decided to hit the Southbeach area in Miami, Florida.
The Souhtbeach diet was probably patterned after this place due to the well
toned bodies of the locals and most tourists but I did not hesitate in
showing my big belly! We stayed at
Hotel Chelsea and airport
transfer was included in the package. The hotel was just 2 blocks away
from the beach front.
Southbeach was basically a strip of
restaurants fronting the beach and it was extremely expensive. A
bottle of beer was US$8.00 and lunch was about US$28-35/plate.
