Took Via Rail train from
Edmonton to Vancouver. The train's route went through the
Canadian Rockies.
The train was supposed to leave at 8:00 am but it left at 4:00 pm.
Wasted 1 good day and derailed my schedule.
As a first timer, the 24
hour train ride was good but I will not take it again. It was extremely
boring with no TV nor music; just the Canadian Rockies. Had the time of meeting
new people though like the kid (I forgot his name), his mom and someone from United Kingdom who
regretted the trip as he started from Toronto en route to Vancouver.
To kill time while at
the train station in Edmonton and during the train ride, I had to work on
the schedule of one of my projects.
